Original language description
Objective of the article is to address a synergy effect of sustainable innovation for company and its stakeholders including environment and future and comparison of companies in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland. The paper builds on main idea that an innovation should make human life better and its issue is to create better condition for mankind and future generation. The issue of paper is to compare and characterize the current situation in the perception of innovation and innovation performance in context of sustainable development in socially responsible business, to determine the differences in the Slovak Republic, Poland and the Czech Republic. The methods used in the paper are primarily the description, explanation, comparison, comparative analysis, synthesis, deduction and evaluation. The secondary data were chosen for the comparative analyses regarding innovations in above mentioned countries. At the same time, a knowledge triangle - university, enterprise and government - based on triple helix model idea, is introduced as an opportunity for further development towards sustainable competitiveness through innovation for companies and people.
