The perspectives of demographic changes in the central European labour market

  • Original language description

Changes in the number of a population have a significant impact on the demographic structure of the country and affect functioning of the society. Although these changes are longitudinal, the demand for actions, affecting the future, is immediate caused by the long-term approval process. In the study were examined structures of population in Central Europe and age-related policies with focus on the labour market. Our findings suggest that the impact of pension reforms has various effects on the participation rate of seniors aged 65-74. The paper suggests potential areas of development of the labour and the structural changes of the society.
