Original language description
This expert study provides outputs of analysis within the existing differences in sustainability, expressed by key indicators of economic-production, environmental and social character, between micro and small farms on the one hand and large farms on the other. It combined analysis of secondary data using the EU Farm Accountancy Data Network and primary data from the conducted questionnaire survey among professional chambers and bodies as representatives of farms in selected EU member countries. The data obtained from the primary questionnaire survey helped to address the strategy into operational level of business processes by combining financial and non-financial measures. Specifically, it considered the possibility to transform visions and strategies into operating activities of business entities within the primary agricultural production by employing the four perspectives - financial, market, business process and learning & growth one.
