Current financial problems of the Czech agriculture

The agriculture of the Czech Republic has gone through many changes since 1989.A subsidy policy for agriculture was formulated according to totally new approaches related to a high decrease of the total provided subsidies.The government tends to help agricultural farmers in three basic forms.The most significant form of help is the establishment of the Support and Guarantee Fund for Farmers and Forestry(SGFFF), in 1994.Ist aim is to provide guarantees for credits of agricultural firms,and to subsidistheinterests of credits.The second important instrument of government agrarian policy is direct subsidies.These are provided for strictly defined purposer.The third basic instrument of agrarian policy of Czech Republic is the State Fund for Market Regulation (SFMR). Its aim is to assure market regulation with the selected products of plant and animal production.
