The effect of haymaking technology and anhydrous ammonia addition on the content of linolenic acid, lipids, crude protein and netto energy in alfalfa hay.
Original language description
In the present study, effects of anhydrous ammonnia addition in alfalfa hay on the content of linolenic acid, lipids, crude protein and netto energy for lactation were studied. The addition of ammonia to the hay increased a higher reduction (P < 0,05) ofcontent of C18:3 , crude protein (Nx6,25) was at the storage period non significant in compared with control variant. In the fat content, statistically significant (P < 0,05) differences between both groups were found. The energy content in control andammoniated hay were comparable.
