Original language description

This is the first contribution to the knowledge of African Apophylia based on the study of type materials. The lectotypes are designated for following taxa: Apophylia chloroptera THOMSON, 1858; A. consociata LABOISSIÉRE, 1922; A. cyaneolimbata LABOISSIÉRE, 1922; A. gloriosa LABOISSIÉRE, 1922; A. hebes WEISE, 1904; A. kivuensis LABOISSIÉRE, 1940; A. maynei LABOISSIÉRE, 1922; A. sericea LABOISSIÉRE, 1922; A. saliens WEISE, 1904; Malaxia alluaudi ALLARD, 1888 and M. femorata JACOBY, 1895. Following new synonyms are proposed: A. alluaudi (ALLARD, 1888) = A. kivuensis LABOISSIÉRE, 1940 = A. chloroptera THOMSON, 1858; A. consociata LABOISSIÉRE, 1922 = A. holosericea LABOISSIÉRE, 1925. Male genitalia of all species studied are figured.

Je prezentován první příspěvek k poznání afrických druhů rodu Apophylia na základě studia typového materiálu. Lektotypy jsou designovány pro následující druhy: Apophylia chloroptera Thomson, 1858; A. consociata Laboissiére, 1922; A. cyaneolimbata Laboissiére, 1922; A. gloriosa Laboissiére, 1922; A. hebes Weise, 1904; A. kivuensis Laboissiére, 1940; A. maynei Laboissiére, 1922; A. sericea Laboissiére, 1922; A. saliens Weise, 1904; Malaxia alluaudi Allard, 1888 a M. femorata Jacoby, 1895. Je navržena následující synonymika: A. alluaudi (Allard, 1888) = A. kivuensis Laboissiére, 1940 = A. chloroptera Thomson, 1858; A. consociata Laboissiére, 1922 = A. holosericea Laboissiére, 1925. Samčí genitálie všech druhů jsou nakresleny.
