Water and wind erosion and its influencing by climate conditions
Original language description
Torrential rains belong to the most important factors influencing the occurrence and intensity of water erosion. If the expected climate change is presented by the increasing of the extreme weather phenomenons, it is possible to expect changes not only in the frequency of the occurrence of erosion-dangerous rainfalls, but also in the seasonality of their occurrence in the individual months, in the amount, intensity, and time of duration. By comparison with the average volume of rainfall between 1901-1950 and 1961--2000 there are registered the lower volumes of rainfall in the second period in all the chosen regions of Czech Republic. This responds with the trend of global warming followed by the decreasing of total rainfall. On the other hand, the increasing trend of the torrential rain occurrence is registered in the time period of 1961-2000 and from this the increasing danger of erosion processes formation follows. Wind erosion is caused by the mutual action of the environmental fact
