The observation was carried out on a group of 917 cows of the Monbeliarde cattle in Czech Republic. All cows finished the first three lactations. The total mean milk yield was 4 509.9 kg (first lactation), 5 383.1 kg (second lactation) and 5 767.5 kg ofmilk (third lactation). The relationships between the lactations were described by individual estimation coefficients that were calculated as a ratio of milk yield in subsequent lactation to milk yield in preceding lactation. The mean estimation coefficient between the first lactation and second lactation was 1.218, between the first and third lactation 1.314 and between the second and third lactation 1.095. Estimation coefficients between all lactations decreased significantly with increasing milk yield in the first lactation. Sledování bylo provedeno na skupině 917 dojnic Montbeliardského plemene v české republice. Všechny dojnice ukončily třetí laktaci. Jejich průměrná dojivost byla 4 509,9 kg na první laktaci, 5 383,1 kg na druhé laktaci a 5 767,5 kg na třetí laktaci.
