In the course of 5 months blood samples were collected from 23 breeding boars to determine selected biochemical parameters of the blood plasma. The mean of glucose, cholesterol, total lipids and urea concentrations were 3.33 mmol .l-1, mmol .l-1, 2.71 g.l-1 and 6.15 mmol .l-1, respectively. During the entire period of investigations the average ejaculate volume, sperm concentration and sperm motility of all the boars was respectively 303.20 cm3, 0.43 . 106. mm-3 and 89.0%. The average total number of sperm in the ejaculate was 130.49 . 109 and the total number of motile sperm in the ejaculate 116.12 . 109. A statistically highly significant (P< 0.01) negative correlation was discovered between the concentration of the plasma glucose of boars and ejaculate volume (rp = -0.27) and between the concentration of total lipids and concentration of sperm (rp = -0.27). Vybrané biochemické ukazatele krevní a semenné plazmy a kvalitativní ukazatele spermatu kanců

U 23 plemenných kanců, byla v průběhu pěti měsíčního období odebrána krev ke stanovení vybraných biochemických ukazatelů krevní plazmy. Průměrná koncentrace glukózy byla 3.33 mmol .l-1, cholesterolu 2.41 mmol .l-1, celkových lipidů 2.71 g .l-1 a močoviny6.15 mmol .l-1. V průběhu celého sledovaného období byl zjištěn u všech kanců průměrný objem ejakulátu 303.20 cm3, koncentrace spermií 0.43 . 106. mm-3 a motilita spermií 89.0%. Průměrný celkový počet spermií v ejakulátu byl 130.49 . 109 a celkový početaktivních spermií v ejakulátu 116.12 . 109. Statisticky vysoce signifikantní (P< 0.01) záporná závislost byla zjištěna mezi koncentrací glukózy v krevní plazmě kanců a objemem ejakulátu (rp = -0.27), mezi koncentrací celkových lipidů a koncentrací spermií (rp = -0.27). Statisticky významná těsnost vztahu (P< 0.05) byla zjištěna mezi koncentrací glukózy v krevní plazmě a koncentrací spermií v ejakulátu kanců (rp = 0.24), podobně byla vypočtena kladná korelace mezi koncentrací močoviny v
