Original language description
In this contribution the impact of river on the level of underground water within one year or long-term period was presented on the example of river flood-plain. Soil type of selected locality is the Gleyic Fluvisols (old Czech name is Wold Soils). ThisSoil type is created in river and creek wold i.e. from floods sediments. These areas were drained in former times and water courses were regulated by human activity as reaction to annual floods. The results of 13 years monitoring of Svratka river dynamics and level of underground water on clay-loam arable soil of maize production region are presented. On experimental area Žabčice (close to Židlochovice) the level oscilation of underground water within one year or long-term period (1995--2007) was shown.Weekly data of underground water level come from drill--hole VB0326 Nosislav (belongs to CHMI network). Weekly data of Svratka water level come from measure point 4620 Židlochovice (also CHMI network). Moisture soil regime of experimenta
