The present work gives the results of the research of the annual development of macrozoobenthos carried out in the years 2007--2008.171 taxa of macrozoobenthos were determined from the trout zone of the Křemelná River.The mean values of the zoobenthos abundance and biomass were 6 374 ind.m2 and 12.9 g.m2, respectively. The values of saprobic indicies ranged between 0.41 and 1.28 (xenosaprobity-oligosaprobity) with the average values of the saprobic index 0.71 for the whole Křemelná River.
