Occurrence of phthalates in soil and agricultural plants
Original language description
The aim of this study was detected of phthalic acid esters (PAEs) in the soil and agricultural plants in the Middle Moravia in the Czech republic. The objective of our experiment was quantification of two PAEs, di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP) and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). Three fields were selected in the Middle Moravia. Triticum aestivum was cultivated on the Location 1 and 2, and Brassica napus was cultivated on the Location 3. Every sample was compounded from six partial samples. The detection ofDBP and DEHP were determined by high performance liquid chromatography with UV detection. The range of DBP concentration in agricultural lands were detected from 0,46 to 0,84 mg.kg-1 dry matter. DEHP was not detected in any samples of soil. The mean concentrations of DBP in plants were detected from 3,5 to 14,26 mg.kg-1 dry matter. DEHP was in range from 0,12 to 2,27 mg.kg-1 dry matter. The concentrations of DEHP were much more lower than concentration of DBP in all samples of plants. A
