Determination of penetration resistance during diferent kinds of soil cultivator.
Original language description
Growing of wheat and maize in the Czech Republic is based on agro-engineering factors and basic soil cultivation. The soil degradation and deterioration of its properties are given by its natural quality (natural degradation) and acting of agricultural machinery, which is causing soil compaction (secondary degradation). The soil compaction can be quantified by penetration resistance. The penetration tests are useful as an indicator of soil physical properties during agro-engineering experiments and their results can describe the level of soil degradation.
