Experimentální použití metody kontur ke stanovení hodnoty reziduálních napětí v podpovrchových vrstvách.

  • Original language description

The recently developed contour method is ranked among the destructive methods of measuring of residual stress. The complex value of residual stress is calculated by measuring of deformation released by cutting the sample in two pieces by precise and low-stress cutting technique. This principle allows measuring of residual stress along the whole cut surface and allows creation of 2D stress map of examined area. These are the main reasons for selecting the contour method for determination of residual stress in grinded sample and for comparison with "stress free" sample. The basic principle of the method is described in the article and also the experimentally gained data are included. The measured value of residual stress is discussed at the end of the article and further experiments are proposed.
