    Combined systems of anticorrosion protection

  • Original language description

    Corrosion degradation of steel machine parts is a worldwide problem. This article monitors anticorrosion protection of pure zinc-based coatings and a combination of zinc protection with a paint system, so called duplex system. There have been selected asteel plate class 11 323 as the base material. There have been prepared samples sized 160 x 65 x 1 mm, on which anticorrosion coating was made. There were used technologies of zinc dipping, metallization and a duplex system. Every individual sample has been tested by a bending test according to the norm ČSN EN ISO 8401. There was analyzed the thickness as well as the weight of the coating. Afterwards, in order to find out the anticorrosion propensity of the individual protective systems, there has beenprocessed a salt-spray test according to the norm ČSN ISO 9227.
