Original language description
The main aim of this study was to identify the Kc coefficients for selected field crops and stubble. The Kc values were derived as ratio between actual (ETa) and reference (ET0) evapotranspiration with consideration of soil water availability. The dailyvalues of ETa were measured on the basis of Bowen ratio and energy balance method (BREB) and ET0 was estimated according to the Penman-Monteith method described within FAO paper No. 56. Namely spring barley, winter wheat, winter rape and stubble during the period from 2009 to 2010 were included. Experimental location Polkovice (17.252° E; 49.398° N; 205 m a.s.l.) is located in the fertile central Moravian region. The variability and average values of Kc for different parts of vegetation season (initialdevelopment, mid-season, senescence) were identified.
