Original language description
Centroscelis kadleci sp. nov. from Yemen is described and illustrated. Geographical distribution of the Afrotropical genus Centroscelis Chevrolat, 1836 is extended to the southernmost part of the Arabian Peninsula. Lectotype is designated for Chrysomeladecempustulata Thunberg, 1787. Centroscelis inenarrabilis Vogel, 1871 (with its synonyms C. trifi bulata Vogel, 1871, C. bisquinquepustulata Vogel, 1871, C. nigripennis Achard, 1924 and C. quatuordecimmaculata Achard, 1924) is proposed as a new synonym of C. decempustulatus (Thunberg, 1787), comb. nov.
