Use of quality tools in monitoring of high-cyclic fatigue

  • Original language description

This paper describes the application of selected statistical tools for degradation process evaluation by means of acoustic emission. Attention is paid to studying fatigue properties of aluminum alloy EN AW 7075. The aim is creation and degradation process in real time. During material degradation are acoustic events evalueted using MINITAB statistics software. Data are analyzed especially using normality tests and control charts. The information is used to identify the loaded material damage and lifetime prediction.
