Analysis of the effect of temperature in stable on cow comfort indices of Czech Fleckvieh cows were investigated from 24.7.2011 to 16.9.2011. Herd came from farm GENAgro Říčany, a.s. For the purpose of monitoring was selected section with 100 dairy cowsthat were in various stages of lactation and were fed a total mixed ration. Evaluated parameters were number cows lying and standing (in stall) as well as eating cows. Assessment of photos from camera was evaluated daily. In the same time interval was measured stable temperature. Average values of the analyzed cow comfort indices were detected: cow comfort index (CCI) -- 87.1 %, stall standing index (SSI) -- 12.9 % and proportion eligible lying (PEL) -- 84.4 %. Difference of all measured indices and temperature in stable were not statistically significant (P 0.05). For PEL was observed a tendency that with increasing temperature this value decreases.
