    The Utilization of Oscilloscope in Technical Diagnostic

    In the car-repairing practice is often used technical diagnostics based on the serial diagnostics. Serial diagnostics is implemented in all modern engine management systems. Serial diagnostics tools often have limited capabilities in terms of sensors diagnostics. The engine control unit can declare a fault condition corresponding sensor failure, but the sensor may works correctly. Error often occurs at other location eg in the wiring harness. This paper deals with the verification of the function of motormanagement sensors with help of an oscilloscope.
