Mechanical characteristics of heat-resistant anticorrosion systems
Original language description
Anticorrosion systems of heat-stressed machine parts are designed for environments with temperature exceeding 100 °C. Classical example of a heat-stressed machine parts is an exhaust pipe line of gas-engines. The aim of this paler is to analyze mechanical characteristics of heat-resistant anticorrosion systems dedicated to the automotive industry. There are alkyd synthetic paints enriched by laminated aluminum and zinc. The individual samples are subject to heat degradation in muffle furnace; the temperature range was 200 °C, 400 °C, 600 °C for 30 minutes. Each of the tested samples was visually checked using an optical binocular. After evaluating the quality of anticorrosion coating, Buchholz indentation test (ČSN EN ISO 2815), a cross cut test (ČSN ISO 2409) and Erichsen cupping test (ČSN EN ISO 20482) were processed. The individual analyses provide input data for evaluation and comparison of anticorrosion systems used for dynamic stressed machine parts which are subject to exceeding
