Original language description
The work deals with combination of destructive and non-destructive testing of damask steel. It experimentally verifies high-cycle fatigue properties of layered steel and evaluates them from the point of view of fatigue tests of conventional steel materials and a parallel application of a non-destructive - acoustic emission - test. This enables identification the current stage of degradation and assessing the risk of an accident in real-time.
