Application of soil conditioners in sandy soils
Original language description
The paper gives results of changes in soil chemical and physical properties after Agrisorb, Zeolite and Lignite application. Object of study was Haplic Arenosol dystric on Aeolic material, localized in the southeast region of the Czech Republic, during the period 2008 - 2012. The main attention was paid to hydro-physical parameters, soil reaction, macro elements content and humic substances content and quality. Hydro-physical parameters were measured using core samples. Soil reaction was determined by potentiometric method and macroelements content according to method Mehlich III. Humic substances content and quality were assessed by short fractionation method and by UV-VIS spectroscopy. Tukey test (STATISTICA 8.9) and one-way ANOVA analysis were used. Results showed no statistically significant effect on to the hydro-physical soil properties. Mainly exchangeable soil reaction, nutrients content and humic substances quality were affected by the applied soil conditioners.
