Comparison of SNP variability between two over time clusters of Prestice Black-Pied pig boars
Original language description
The research of genetic variability in populations is important for optimal conduct of their breeding, knowledge of relations between molecular markers and traits and preservation of genetic diversity. The study of genetic variability of the Czech genetic resource Prestice Black-Pied pig is one of the major part of project ""The molecular genetic as a tool for etTective work in a small populations of pigs". In this study was chosen eight markers with important association with production and economical traits: CRC. ESR2. FUT1, MUC4, Mxl, MC4R, TF.AD3 and CYP2E1. The genetic variability was analysed by genotyping two clusters of breeding boars over the time - the first one between years 2003-2011 (90 individuals) and the second between 2013-2015 (77 individuals). The obtained variability was similar between these two clusters. Some alleles were due to breeding almost lost and we recorded low variability in genotypes.
