Quality of soil organic matter in Haplic Cambisol after exogenous organic material application
Original language description
Exogenous organic materials (compost, digestate, biochar, lignite, and lignohumate) were applied into Haplic Cambisol with aim to increase total organic carbon content and humic substances quality. Pot experiments were carried out in Phytotron CLF PlantMaster (Wefiingen, Germany) during spring and summer 2015. Content of total organic carbon in soil was determined by oxidimetric titration method. Humic acids isolation was made according to the standard IHSS method. Quality of isolated humic acids was studied by DRIFT spectroscopy. Results showed that content of humic acids increased three times after lignohumate application and their biological activity was the. highest. A1i applied exogenous organic amendments directly influence humic acids stability, hydrophobicity and activity.
