Original language description

Congress was attended by 54 participants mainly from European countries. There were odonatological oral presentations and posters on faunistics, diversity, life history, behaviour, habitats, monitoring of dragonflies. A mid-symposium filed trip was held in mid day of the congress, aiming for the northernmost population of Europe&apos;s largest dragonfly, Cordulegaster heros. At the end of the congress, a post-field trip was organised across the Moravian and Silesian territories, where participants could see all types of wetland habitats from the peat bogs of Hrubý Jeseník Mts. to the lowlands of the Odra River.
