Original language description
This study reports semen characteristics of Warmblood stallions such as ejaculate volume, concentration, total and progressive sperm motility during breeding season. Average volume of ejaculate ranged from 21.29 to 50.71 ml, concentration of sperm 119.77 - 387.93*106/ml, sperm activity 88.34 - 97.66 % and progressive sperm motility 80.21 - 95.64 %. Statistically significant differences between stallions occurred in all observed parameters and were major in concentration and motility of sperms. We assume that these differences were mostly cause by internal factors, as the stabling, nutrition and type of collection was same for all stallions.
