    A new, widely distributed, species in the genus Pleronexis Weise, 1908 (Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae)

  • Original language description

    A new species, Pleronexis sahulensis n. sp. is described, illustrated and compared with Pleronexis beauforti Weise, 1908 and P. caledonica (Fauvel, 1862). The new species has a wide distribution and has been recorded from Moluccas (Indonesia), Papua (Indonesia), Papua New Guinea and northern Queensland (Australia).
