Original language description
The Madagascan genus Semiclaviger Wasmann, 1893 is morphologically very distinct member of the obligately myrmecophilous pselaphine supertribe Clavigeritae. Here, the second species, Semiclaviger strunci sp. nov., discovered in northern Madagascar (National Park of Marojejy) is described and illustrated.
