Economic and energy balance in the integrated crop management practice.
Original language description
The economic balance and energy requirements of individual cropping practices were investigated in three experimental prototypes of integrated arable farming systems. The experiments of a experimental farm character were conducted in various regions of the Czech Republic (maize-growing region, beet-growing region, and potato-growing region). The best values were assessed in cereals (winter wheat, spring barley, and triticale) and oil crops (poppy and safflower). Considering the energy evaluation, the best results were obtained in cereals and sugar beet.
