Global systems of economic regulation: which problems Asia and Europe face?
Original language description
In Russian: On 19-20 November 2012, scholars from Asian countries (India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan) and from Europe (including Russia) met at the conference called 'Global economic governance in Asia' . The objective of the conference was to scrutinise the state-of-play of global economic governance in conjunction with the European sovereign debt crisis. The idea was to bring together academics and practitioners involved in the subject and ask them what kind of principles and rules of the gamecould be explored in the current economic situation. Subsequently, the question was about whether the East is satisfied with the existing institutional framework and what possible amendments can be thought of.
