Original language description
This article gives an insight into the practices of the foreign affairs of the People's Republic of China. It analyses Chinese official policies, and compares them with the knowledge gained from the research on a case study focused on the territorial dispute of Spratley Islands. The conflict in the South China Sea plays a very important role in the mutual relations between Chin and ASEAN countries. Both strategic and economic importance of the islands can escalate in one of the biggest conflicts on theglobal level.
