Original language description
This paper studies the possibilities of development of rural regions with regard to their sustainability and preservation of their landscape identity. The study was extended to analyze and design solutions for the vicinity of the dam Slezská Harta. The area is facing a big pressure to develop the recreational potential, which is given by dam and the unique Bruntal volcanoes. Within the broader context of the area in question, the primary, secondary and tertiary characteristics of the landscape surrounding Slezská Harta were examined. Based on these analyzes a confrontation arose with the existing and proposed land-use planning documentation and evaluation of the basic problems and barriers to sustainable development was elaborated. Recommendations for the identified and described problems and conflicts were proposed. This paper suggests a possible way of the village development, which would be not only sustainable but also non-violent to historically sensitive area.
