Sustainable central European forest management, forest soils and productivity. Shall we be scared from acidification influence on properties of forest soils? A general view.
Original language description
The role of forestry in changing environmental conditions has altered. Global acidification plays an important role in both planning and realising of forest management practices. The paper presents specific data dealt with forest soils investigations inarea having no local sources of pollution. The comparison with results from 1933-1937 was performed. The same laboratory techniques were used in soil parameters measurements. The results obtained demonstrate an obvious changes in soil reaction, content of soil nitrogen, loss of ignition and soil colloidal complex parameters. A general suggestions for forestry were proposed.
