    Optimum degree of circular saw blade blunt for cutting Wood-based materials

  • Original language description

    Cutting power of sharp circular saw blades made by AKE and PILANA TOOLS was determined for selected types of agglomerated materials on the basis of experimental research. The measured cutting powers do not exceed the value of 2 kW and are comparable withoutputs necessary for idle run of the saw blades. Dependence of increasing blunt on the amount of the cut material and dependence of energy consumption on the utilization of working hours are presented in graphic form for the AKE and PILANA TOOLS circular saw blades of 300 mm in diameter.
