Original language description
The aim of the study was to describe variability of the structure of roots in Norway spruce (Picea abies [L.] Karst.) from their growth tips up to the stem foot, i.e. anchor roots in relation to their changing functions. From the viewpoint of histological structure Norway spruce roots were studied within a forest stand in the region of the Křtiny Training Forest Enterprise. Root systems were revealed by an air blast using the AIR-SPADE apparatus and cuts were selected of buttress roots, horizontal roots, root anastomosis and fine roots. Histological studies referred to man-ual transversal cuts of fine roots.

Příspěvek se zabývá stavbou kořenů u smrku ztepilého (Picea abies [L.] Karst.) od jejich vzrostných vrcholů až k patě kmene tj. kořenů kotevních, ve vztahu k jejich měnící se funkci. Po stránce histologické stavby byly vyšetřeny kořeny smrku ztepilého vrámci lesního porostu na území ŠLP Křtiny. Kořenové soustavy byly odkryty vzdušným proudem pomocí přístroje AIR-SPADE a vybrány výřezy kořenů kotevních, dlouživých a kořenových anastomóz. Histologické šetření se týkalo ručních transverzálních řezů jemných kořenů.
