The paper deals with superhard nanocomposite TiAlSiN coatings and TiCrNiN superhard thick film for Tigra Super Pac tools. For the measurement a milling cutter of 173 mm in diameter and 60 mm in width was used. This tool was fitted on a measuring stand for high-speed cutting and milling of wood. Verification tests of the functionality of superhard coatings were implemented on the tool blade. Results are presented of milled beech joists.)

Článek pojednává o supertvrdých nanokompozitních povlacích TiALSiN a TiCrNiN supertvrdých tlustých vrstvách aplikovaných na nástrojích Tigra Super Pac. Ověření adheze a funkčnosti bylo provedeno na frézovací hlavě o průměru 173 mm a šířce 60 mm. Ověřovací zkoušky probíhaly na stendu pro vysokorychlostní frézování dřeva. Výsledky a závěry zkoušek jsou prezentovány pro frézování bukových hranolů.
