The state forests in the Czech Republic are managed by Forests of the Czech Republic, state enterprise with its headquarters in Hradec Králové. Private companies -- forestry enterprises (established during the economic reform in 1992 and privatization in1994) carry out silvicultural and logging activities in state forests on the basis of contracts. This study is focused on forestry enterprises. The current situation of business environment in the Czech Republic was studied. The study is performed on representative group of twelve tested enterprises using ratio analysis as the basic methodical instrument of financial analysis. Financial statement analysis is a process known in enterprise management, which has to make an informed decision for owners ormanagers of the enterprise. Analýza účetních výkazů podnikatelských subjektů v lesním hospodářství ČR.

Lesy ve vlastnictví státu jsou v České republice obhospodařovány státním podnikem Lesy ČR, s.p. s ředitelstvím v Hradci Králové. Pěstební práce a těžební zásahy ve státních lesích provádí soukromé firmy -- lesní podniky (zřízené v průběhu hospodářské reformy v roce 1992 a během privatizace v roce 1994) na smluvním základě. Tato studie se zaměřuje na lesní podniky. Byla studován současný stav podnikatelského prostředí v České republice. Studie se uskutečnila na reprezentativním vzorku dvanácti zkoumanýchpodniků při využití poměrové analýzy jako základního metodického instrumentu finanční analýzy. Analýza účetní závěrky je proces známý v řízení podniku, které musí činit informovaná rozhodnutí pro vlastníky či vedoucí pracovníky podniku. Tento příspěvekbyl vypracován za účelem vyhodnocení současného stavu lesních podniků v České republice. Výsledkem práce je objasnění podnikatelského prostředí v lesním hospodářství.
