Evaluation of social-recreational forest function in the landscape management

Necessity of recreational forest function solution results from the high interest about recreation in the landscape and especially in the forest because the forests are entire part of Czech Republic. Land area of forests is 2 639 thousand of hectares andis slowly increasing. Forest percentage of Czech republic is 33,4 %. Land area of forests ground for one inhebitant is in present time 0,25 hectares [1]. The interest in forests is not so common only in Czech Republic, but it is a worldwide trend. In many states (e.g. Denmark, Germany, France, Schwitzerland, Austria) were conducted large analysis of forests visiting and utilization. Their results are corresonding with results from Czech Republic, where a large amount of respondents haunts forest as thesetting for recreation and evaluates the forest as the best place for recreation as "matchless". Czech description

Důležitost řešení problematiky rekreační funkce lesa vychází z velkého zájmu o rekreaci v krajině a hlavně v lesích, neboť lesy jsou nedílnou součástí České republiky. Rozloha lesů činí 2 639 tisíc hektarů a pomalu se zvyšuje. Lesnatost republiky je 33,4%. Rozloha lesa přepotená na jednoho obyvatele je v současnosti 0,25 hektaru. Zájem o lesy není běžný jen v ČR, ale je to rozšířený trend. V mnoha státech proběhly rozsáhlé analýzy o návštěvnosti lesa. Jejich výsledky korespondují s výsledky v ČR, kde většina respondentů označila lesy jako nejlepší místo pro rekreaci.
