    Host spectrum of Dothistroma needle blight in the Czech Republic

  • Original language description

    Dothistroma needle blight is an important pathogen of needles of coniferous trees. It was observed for the first time in the Czech Republic on an imported Pinus nigra Arnold in 1999. During few years it became an imortant pathogen of pines in our country. In the Czech Republic, the spectrum of hosts includes Pinus nigra Arnold, Pinus mugo Turra, Pinus ponderosa Douglas ex Lawson, Pinus jeffreyi Grev. et Balf, Pinus banksiana Lamb., Pinus leucodermis Ant., Pinus sylvestris L., Pinus aristata Engelm., Pinus contorta Douglas, Pinus rotundata Link, Pinus cembra L. var. sibirica (Du Tour) G. Don, Pinus rigida Mill., Pinus heldreichii H. Christ, Picea pungens Engelm., Picea abies (L.) Karst. and Picea schrenkiana Fisch & C. A. Mey.

    Červená sypavka je důležitým patogenem asimilačního aparátu jehličnanů. V České republice byla poprvé objevena v roce 1999 na importované borovici černé Pinus nigra Arnold. Během několika let se u nás stala důležitým patogenem. V České republice zahrnujehostitelské spektrum následující druhy - Pinus nigra Arnold, Pinus mugo Turra, Pinus ponderosa Douglas ex Lawson, Pinus jeffreyi Grev. et Balf, Pinus banksiana Lamb., Pinus leucodermis Ant., Pinus sylvestris L., Pinus aristata Engelm., Pinus contorta Douglas, Pinus rotundata Link, Pinus cembra L. var. sibirica (Du Tour) G.
