This work is addressed to present theoretical aspects of research being related to development of forest humus forms in natural and cultural forest stands being located in National Natural Reserve Kněhyně (NNR Kněhyně). The research of forest humus formsin NNR Kněhyně is planned for the period 2005 - 2010 and the main aim this research is to study development of forest humus forms in natural and cultural forest stands. We hypothesise that natural forest stands of the locality will show higher heterogenity of forest humus forms and more frequent occurence of lignomor and lignomoder. From the point of long-term perspective we suppose more balanced content of some available nutrients in layers of forest humus forms. The cultural forest stands will probably reflect higher homogenity and less varied number of forest humus forms, lower thickeness of forest humus horizons, lower content of available micro-nutrients and higher C/N ratio according to our assumption.

Tato studie je prezentována jako teoretická část výzkumu zabývající se vývojem humusových forem v lese přirozeném a lese kulturním v oblasti NPR Kněhyně. Tento výzkum je součástí výzkumného záměru Lesnické a dřevařské fakulty Mendelovy zemědělské a lesnické university v Brně č. VZ MSM 6215648902, který je plánován na období 2005-2010. Předpokládáme, že v lese přirozeném bude větší heterogenita humusových forem, zejména se budou vyskytovat humusové formy lignomor a lignomoder. Z delšího časového hlediskapředpokládáme vyvážený poměr některých přístupných živin v horizontech nadložního humusu. V kulturních porostech očekáváme větší homogenitu humusových forem, nižší obsah přístupných živin a výšší poměr C/N.
