Influence of pheasantry enviroment on diversity of small mammal species
Original language description
Communities of small terrestrial mammals (STM) were studied in the specific environment of two pheasantries which differed in the various intensities of pheasant keeping and in the habitat. RB was a pheasantry with a high number of different habitats, ahigh number of pheasants (72 chickens released per hectare a year) and supplementary food all year round. HJ was pheasantry situated in a typical production forest more uniform in biotope, with a low number of pheasants (only 15 chickens released per hectare a year) and supplementary food offered only in winter. During four years of STM study (2002-2005) altogether ten species were identified from the orders of Rodentia and Insectivora. Dominant species were the rodents Apodemus flavicollis, A. sylvaticus and Clethrionomys glareolus. Among the low number of insectivores, two rare species were present (Crocidura leucodon and C. suaveolens). RB STM diversity was significantly higher (10 species; H` = 1.28; t = 3.09: p< 0.01) compared to H

Vliv bažantnic na diverzitu drobných zemních savců
