Mechanical Response Analysis of Knock-Down Furniture Joints
Original language description
Mechanical strength of furniture mostly depends on the strength of furniture joints. Recently the knock-down (dismountable) furniture joints are largely used for furniture construction. The aim of this work is the mechanical response analysis of this construction joint with a use of Finite Element Method (FEM). Tested joints were loaded in bending plane at the FEM simulation environment as well as at the testing traction machine.
