Original language description

Comprehensive small watersheds evaluation gives us the chance to recommend the type of management with which we could be able to restore original forest conditions that means we will get energy flow and water flow equilibrium in landscape. Fore-thoughtless human interventions into these ecosystems may cause irreversible changes, especially in water regime function -- water movement in soil, watershed runoff and soil-vegetation-atmosphere system exchanges. Initiatory systems included into suggested evaluation are forest ecosystem, drainage and road network because we can exactly evaluate and affect them. Basic watershed characteristic determines specifics of watershed properties. Beside available map basis and terrain search Geographical Information System tools can be used with advantage. Analytic watershed evaluation is based on detailed mapping of primarily, secondary and tertiary drainage. Forest roads analysis is focused on haul roads and skid trails evaluation. Czech description

Neuvážené lidské zásahy a jednostranné hospodaření v krajinných segmentech mají za následek narušení vodní bilance krajiny s negativním dopadem na její retenční a akumulační schopnost. Snižování diverzity a retenční schopnosti krajiny vede k ovlivnění vodní bilance směrem ke zrychlení povrchového odtoku a následným z lidského hlediska negativním hydrologickým jevům. Obsahem článku je návrh metodiky hodnocení povodí z hlediska hydrického režimu. Jedná se o hodnocení vodního režimu, stavu lesní dopravní sítě a hodnocení funkcí lesa.
