Report describes the repeated inventory of the 1-ha plot 1 of the Kuala Belalong Field Studies Centre, Brunei Darussalam, in 2007. The surveyed habitat was a primary mixed dipterocarp forest. The purpose was to record the current status of each tree individual with the diameter at breast height (DBH) of 5 cm or more, and measure its actual DBH. Three preceding records were in 1991, 1995 and 2000; this was the fourth census. The three previous inventories consisted on repeated identification of every tree and measurement of its girth at 130 cm, or above buttresses if present. Position of each tree was determined in a rectangular grid giving its x and y coordinates (measured in the field using a compass and a tape measure). All trees were also labeled with aluminium tag bearing a unique number from 1 to N. We introduced a new method for identification tree position, using geodetic laser electronic measurement of the stems positions in a relative grid; this increased exactness of the tree

Výzkumná zpráva popisuje metody a výsledky opakované inventarizace nížinného deštného pralesa v Kuala Belalong, Brunei Darussalam, na ostrově Borneo. Naše měření v roce 2007 bylo již čtvrtým zkoumáním 1-ha plochy, změřené v letech 1991, 1995 a 2000. Představili jsme novou metodu identifikace pozice stromů, založenou na geodeticko-laserovém principu (Field-Map).
