Inventarizace rostlinné biodiverzity jihomoravských lužních lesů

  • Original language description

The inventory of floodplain forests in Southern Moravia between the confluence of the Morava and Dyje Rivers and the Nové Mlýny water reservoir started in 2005 and will continue till 2010. The aim of the inventory is determination of all herb and woody species growing in the study area, furthermore the observation of autochthonous species including populations of protected and threatened species, and the monitoring of the dynamics of invasive species. The total study area in 2006 was 1600 ha, divided into segments. We surveyed 480 segments with an average area of 3.2 ha. We registered 595 species of vascular plants, including 98 woody species. The number of species per segment ranged from 9 to 157, 61.5 being the average number of species per segment. The response to the increasing human influence on the nature is represented by the spread of adventitious species. We observed 80 adventitious species, out of which 14 occurred most frequently. We found 19 species protected by law, e.g. L
