  • Original language description

    The paper deals with the surface roughness evaluation after milling various types of wood using a 3D system. Parameters are given of the surface structure according to particular types of wood. In results obtained, 2D and 3D parameters of the surface structure after milling are compared with basic mechanical properties of wood and effects are analysed of mechanical properties on the surface quality after milling the wood.
