Origin and evolution of central Asia, part I: Evolutionary history of South Mongolia
Original language description
A number of hypotheses have been suggested for the origin and evolution of central Asia from the Paleozoic to Mesozoic. The most similar and frequent opinions agree each other in hypothese that series of continental blocks, volcanic-arc systems, accretionary wedges, and associated basins amalgamated to form central Asia. So the origin and evolution of different rock associations in large region of South Mongolia is considered therefore to have taken place in relation to various tectonic settings.
