Emission of VOCs emitted by small furnitures'companies
Original language description
This contribution investigates the problematic of volatile organic compounds emitted in to the indoor atmosphere. The main goal of research was to find the impact of air pollution emitted during working activity into indoor of small furniture's workshopson indoor air of dwelling rooms and flats in the same building. Measurements were done continuously during three seasons (spring summer and autumn). The results were evaluated quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative difference of all emitted organic compound showed the measured values of TVOC. Testing was focused also on composition of emitted materials e.g. benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, xylenes and terpenes. Measured amounts of VOC were compared with the quality of indoor air quality in similar rooms and flats without any workshops in the building. All results were compared with limits mandated in the standard of Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
