Original language description
The paper deals with automatic integration of polygon layers for detecting actual temporal land cover changes. The python/arcpy tool developed within the study integrates polygon layers by identifying and unifying similar polygon borders based on sliverpolygon identification and elimination. The result is a land cover change map depicting just actual changes in polygon shapes and omitting shifts in polygon borders caused by different set of mapping and digitalization errors.
